Nassau, the most well known destination in The Bahamas, has been catering to tourists for over 100 years and was a pioneer in the all inclusive resort concept.
In addition to the grandiose Atlantis Resort, you can find several other resorts that are suited to both families and those that are couples only.
Although Cable Beach is currently under massive construction many of the well-known hotels and resort remain open for business as usual.
Catering to the couples crowd, Sandals has earned a well-deserved reputation for it’s spa services and the privacy it offers its guests.
The Sheraton Cable Beach and the Wyndham Cable Beach and Crystal Palace Casino each are the most affected by the ongoing construction of the BahaMar Resort as they both are located in the midst of the enormous overhaul of the Cable Beach area. They remain open for business and are both family-friendly.
Just to the east of the construction zone is also family friendly and is a popular location – they have a good variety of onsite activities including sailing, sea kayaking, a rock-climbing wall and even a circus school with a flying trapeze.
Over on Paradise Island the Comfort Suites and a variety of timeshare locations offer a broad range of services and have an arrangement with Atlantis which allows access to the various water features which Atlantis is famous for.
All, of course, are located either on the beach or in very close proximity to a beach and all have fresh water pools.
